Jamia Millia Islamia, a public university in Delhi, was founded in 1920 by Muslim leaders with the vision of promoting education and community development. Founded in 1920, this University in Delhi emerged from anti-colonial Islamic activism and the desire for independence among politically radical Indian Muslim intellectuals. It has 9 faculties: Law; Engineering and Technology; Architecture and Ekistics; Humanities and Languages; Fine Arts; Social Sciences; Natural Sciences; Education; and Dentistry. This university also known as MGU is an Indian public university named after leading civil rights figure Mahatma Gandhi.It was founded in 1983 and offers many courses with bachelors, masters and doctoral programmes. Additionally, MGU has twice been given the Best State Chancellor's Award. MGU also collaborates closely with several of India's leading organizations, including the ISRO and the DRDO

Shoolini University founded in 2009 in Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh, is a private research university known for its green initiatives, generating surplus electricity. It houses 12 schools offering bachelor's, master's, and PhD programs in various fields. Notable collaborations include partnerships with companies like PwC, Oliver Wyman, Samsung, Yamaha, and Reuters. In 2019, it established a Centre of Excellence in Energy Science and Technology to produce skilled graduates for the energy sector through master's and PhD programs.
