1.Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Protsahan Yojana: -


Objectives of the yojana is to provide the financial support to the meritorious students for poor families to meet a part of their day to day expenses while pursuing higher studies.

Benefits and duration of the scholarship: -

  • Graduation level students will get (twelve thousand) 12000 /- per year for 3 years.
  • Students who is pursuing post graduates will get (twenty thousand) 20000/- for 2 years.
  • Students who is pursuing professional course for 5 years will get (twenty thousand) 20000/- per year in the 4th and 5th year. 

Eligibility for this scholarship: -

  1. Above 80th percentile in class XII.
  2. Pursuing regular degree courses at recognized institutions.
  3. Not receiving other scholarship benefits.
  4. Family income below Rs. 4.5 lakh per annum.
  5. Renewal criteria include maintaining 50% marks and 75% attendance.
  6. Complaints of misconduct can lead to forfeiture.

2. “Ishan Uday" for north eastern region: -

beginning with the academic year 2014–15, it is planned to offer ten thousand (10,000) new scholarships each year for general degree programs, medical and paramedical, including technical and professional programs.

Objectives of the schemes are the followings: -

  • To provide equal opportunities to the students for higher studies of ne region
  • To raise the ne region's gross enrollment ratio (GER).
  • To give the ne region's professional education more attention.
  • To maximum NER budgetary allocation usage.

Benefits and duration of the scholarship: -

  • If you are a general degree students will get Rs 64800 per year as scholarship
  • If you are a professional degree students like medical or paramedical courses will get Rs 93600 per year as a scholarship
  • For PG scholarship- if you are a rank holder than you will get Rs 37200 per year
  • If you are a SC or ST students than you will get Rs 12000 per year.
 

Eligibility for this scholarship: -

  1. Domicile in the north eastern region.
  2. Passed class XII or equivalent exam from a school in the NER.
  3. Admission in recognized institutions, including universities/colleges funded by central/state governments.
  4. Applicable only for first-year undergraduate students.
  5. Scholarship duration varies based on the type of degree program.
  6. Parental income should not exceed Rs. 4.5 lakh per annum.
  7. Transgender candidates are eligible, and reservation follows government of India norms.
